Accessibility Statement

We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who rely on a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification or other assistive technology.

Our Standard

Hubrig Crew Marketing works to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the standard most widely used to judge whether a website is accessible to people with disabilities. Where we can, we also follow the newer WCAG 2.2 Level AA criteria.

Conformance status: partially conformant. The pages we build and control are designed and tested against WCAG 2.1 AA. A small amount of content supplied by third parties, listed below, is outside our control and may not fully conform.

What We Have Built In

  • A "Skip to content" link as the first item on every page, so keyboard and screen reader users can bypass the navigation.
  • Full keyboard operation of the site menus and forms, with a clearly visible focus outline on every link, button and field.
  • Menus that report whether they are open or closed to screen readers, and that close with the Escape key.
  • Text and controls that meet the WCAG AA color contrast ratios against our dark background.
  • Form fields with visible labels, marked required fields, and error messages that screen readers announce.
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images, and one main heading per page with a logical heading order below it.
  • Layouts that reflow on small screens and when zoomed, without sideways scrolling.
  • Animation that is reduced or switched off when your device is set to reduce motion.

How We Test

We check the site with automated accessibility testing (axe-core, against WCAG 2.2 AA rules) on every type of page, and by hand with the keyboard alone. Issues found are fixed in the shared templates, so a correction applies across the whole site rather than one page at a time.

Automated tools cannot find every barrier, which is why your feedback matters to us.

Known Limitations

  • Appointment scheduler. The booking calendar on our contact page is provided by Google Calendar, and its accessibility is controlled by Google. If it gives you any difficulty, call us or email us and we will book the time for you.
  • Older articles. Some older blog posts were published before our current templates and may contain images or tables that are less accessible. We are reviewing them, and will prioritize any article you tell us about.
  • Linked websites. Links to other websites, including our clients' sites and partner tools, lead to content we do not control.

If any part of this site does not work for you, we will provide the information or service in another way, such as by phone, by email or in an alternative format.
